About Janice

Born and raised in the Kanawha Valley of West Virginia, surrounded by the majestic Blue Ridge Mountains, and the Shanendoah River, Janice is certaintly no stranger to the beauty of God's creation, and no novice at capturing the beauty of life's events. So it's no wonder that Photos by Janice was birthed out of a passion for capturing the emotion of once in a lifetime moments, and freezing time in a treasure called a photograph.

Janice is available for weddings, parties, seminars, church events, reunions, and just about any event that involves people coming together to celebrate the joys of life. Additionally, Janice offers non-traditional portrait packages, not in the cold, unfamiliar environment of a photographer's studio, but in more comfortable and serene settings such as an outdoor park, a well known landmark or even in the comfort of a client's own home. Janice has proven over and over again that the more comfortable a person is, the more they glow, and when that glow is captured it creates a warm, natural photograph that's full of life and personality.
